senior vice president to managing director. Eklund is a founding
member of the firm, and at age
31, is among the youngest managing directors in the New York
City residential brokerage community. He was responsible for
more than $250 million in residential sales in 2007

Construction-consulting firm
Greyhawk has promoted Charles
Romanoli from director of the
Mid-Atlantic region to COO. He
assumes responsibility for corporate profitability and management of revenue generating
business centers, and will play a
key role in strategic planning and
business development. Romanoli
will also oversee the management
of operations to ensure best practices and client satisfaction.
Polsinelli Moves to Marcus & Millichap
HIDROCK REALTY
Lisa Vidal has joined Hidrock
Realty as a leasing director. Vidal
will support Hidrock’s office and
retail leasing teams through marketing materials, coordinating
space showings and neighborhood and market research. She
was previously a marketing assistant with Penn-Florida Realty
Corp. in Boca Raton, FL.
Eklund
Adelaide Polsinelli has moved from Besen & Associates to Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services in the Manhattan office. Polsinelli
will become an associate vice president of investments at Marcus & Millichap; she had been a senior investment broker at Besen & Associates.
Polsinelli was pursued by “several local real estate
firms,” says Edward Jordan, regional manager of Marcus & Millichap’s Manhattan office, in a statement, but
she decided upon Marcus & Millichap to continue her
career. “Our firm’s access to a nationwide pool of investment capital was one of the factors that attracted
her,” says Jordan in a release. Polsinelli’s clients include pension funds, institutions, high-net worth individuals and entrepreneurs.
Polsinelli With 25 years’ experience, Polsinelli has arranged
more than 660 commercial real estate transactions.

Jones Lang LaSalle has promoted
George Ladyman to managing
director from senior vice president. He leads the project and development services group’s efforts
throughout the New York metropolitan market, and also heads the
group’s hospitality and leisure
practice in the Northeast.
Romanoli
METROPOLITAN NATIONAL
Scott Lublin has joined Metropolitan National Bank of New
York as SVP in charge of the commercial lending unit, replacing
Richard Rubin, who has retired.
Lublin was a group manager in the
structured real estate finance group
of M&T Bank, where he worked
for nearly 20 years.
Vidal
NFL Star Joins GVA Williams Team
Howard Cross, formerly a tight end with the New York Giants and currently a
co-host with the YES Network, has joined GVA Williams’ tenant rep division
as a managing director. Cross joins GVA Williams after three years at CB
Richard Ellis representing tenants in the financial, healthcare and publishing
sectors. He’ll work with tenants in these and other industries and contribute to
GVA Williams’ business development initiatives.
Cross has been involved with fund-raising on behalf of not-for-profit organizations including Autism
Speaks, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, United
Cerebral Palsy and the United Way. He tells Real Estate New York that along with helping to contribute
to the success of these organizations, the fund-raising has also been valuable in relationship-building
among would-be and actual clients in commercial
Cross real estate.
PERKINS EASTMAN
Steve Rosenstein has joined architecture and design firm Perkins
Eastman as a principal in the New
York office. He will lead the strategic development of the firm’s presence within the science and
technology sector. Before joining
Perkins Eastman, Rosenstein managed his own firm, Steven Rosenstein Associates, which has merged
